Classes
Foundation Course (full day)
This course looks at what what makes beer different, how to taste beer, beer styles (13 beers tasted), beer and food matching (practical), beer presentation, beer and lifestyle, and the beer market.
You will learn about how beer is made, its ingredients and how they impact on flavour. You will sample a range of beer styles and pair some of them with different foods. You will explore some of the lifestyle aspects of beer drinking and the issues in the modern beer market. The course is a chance to 'ask the brewer' since our trainers are all experienced brewers who enjoy talking about the product as much as brewing it.
Most of all we hope the course is informative and loads of fun.
Modification for the Brewing Industry:
We can design a course or event to support any group working within the brewing industry from bar staff to sales personnel, from admin staff to publicans. Courses could cover dispense and presentation, how to create sales potential, ways to manage legislation or any subject relevant to your particular business and all set against a background of gaining a better understanding of beer and its market. Why not contact us to see how we can work together to help develop your business.
