Neal started his brewing career setting up William Bull Brewery, creating Red Angus Pilsener and setting a new standard in contract brewing for many of the countries craft beer heavyweights.  He has recently moved to Sydney to set up The Australian Brewery which has hit the ground running with multiple trophies and gold medals in year one.

 

Neal is a judge at the Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide beer shows and also at the Cider Awards.  He is writer and tasting panellist for beer & brewer magazine, on the executive committee of the NSW Brewers Guild and is the treasurer and sponsorship manager for the newly formed Cider Industry Group.

  

If that wasn't enough, he is an industry consultant and is currently building an organic cidery in Tasmania.
